Drunk Driver Attracts Extra Attention By Ending Up In Handicapped Stall
40-Year-Old's Third DUI
Omaha, NE - Officers got him for his third DUI, for driving under a suspended license--and for parking in a handicapped stall.
Police found 40-year-old Brian R. Harvey slumped over the steering wheel of his green Ford Excursion near 42nd and Center last Friday. It was five a.m.
In addition to blowing a .186, or more than twice the legal limit for alcohol, he happened to stop--illegally--in a handicapped stall with the car running.
Officers said he had bloodshot and watery eyes, slurred speech, and an odor of alcohol on his breath.
His last DUIs were in 2003 and 2009.
