Prison Inmate on the Loose
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities are looking for a 31-year-old Nebraska prison inmate who didn't return to a community facility after applying for a job.
James Bannister was given a pass for his job search on Tuesday and applied for a job on West O Street. Police suspect Bannister then stole a vehicle from a parking lot and didn't report back to the Lincoln Community Corrections Center.
Bannister has been serving a 10-year sentence for a burglary conviction in Scotts Bluff County.
