Man Fires 20 Shots Outside; Police Find Rx Drugs, 3 Young Kids
Shooting From Front Porch
Omaha, NE - Celebrating his birthday?
Police arrested a 32-year-old man after he reportedly fired up to 20 shots from his front porch Thursday night. Inside the house: four firearms, a bottle of Xanax that wasn't labelled with his name, and three young children.
Police say Frank Krimmel fired the shots in three separate incidents over a 15-minute period. Police say Krimmel admitted to firing the shots from the Kellom Knolls apartment complex, near the 900 block of north 25th Street.
It was his birthday.
Krimmel agreed to a search. Inside officers found a handgun, several rifles and in plain view--unlabelled pill bottles with Xanax.
Police say Krimmel also had three young children at home "who witnessed their father entering and exiting the house while firing off his handgun."
Krimmel was booked for unlawful discharge, possession of a controlled substance and child neglect.
