Men Accused of Staging Robbery in Court
Omaha - Two men accused by investigators of staging a fake robbery were set to be in court today.
Both are facing felony theft and conspiracy charges. Isaac Davis' case was continued until Friday. A judge ordered Brian Sieben to be held on $75,000 bond.
Douglas County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Marty Bilek tells KMTV Action 3 News that the two allegedly staged a robbery at the U.S. Bank at the Bakers near 156th and West Dodge on Monday. Sieben was making a depost for his employer, when he appears to be attacked with a stun gun by Isaac Davis.
A tip led investigators to take a closer look. They believe the whole incident was fake.
