30 years ago, Lora Engle was a student in Nicholas Richter's fifth grade class.

"After it coming across the news, it just hit me like it was yesterday. It just literally made me ill", says Engle.

Horrifying memories flooded over her, Lora remembers Mr. Richter, touching her male classmates.

"He would always invite all his male students to sit on his lap, and as they would get off their lap, he would touch them on their behind", adds Engle.

Lora, a ten year old student at Pusey Elementary in Council Bluffs, says Richter was very friendly. He acted like he cared about his students.

But she remembers he only touched the boys.

"It was all visible, everyday, you know it was an everyday thing."

When Lora came home upset one day after school. Her mother asked what was wrong.

She got a very disturbing answer.

"And I said what is going on, what's wrong? And she said to me, she goes, I'm mad, Mr. Richter let's all the little boys sit on his lap but he won't let us girls sit on his lap", says Lora's mother Pam Reynolds.

Pam went to the principal with her concerns.

"I went to school, and I spoke with the principal about the matter, of this being very inappropriate, him letting anybody sit on his lap, and that I wanted my daughter pulled out of that classroom", adds Reynolds.

Pam says the school brushed off her concerns and claimed Richter was just being nice.

After that, Lora changed teachers and eventually moved.
