Gretna, NE  -- A former Gretna High School Wrestler is facing criminal charges for giving alcohol to kids.   19-year old Ryan Hartnett made state wrestling finals in 2010 for Gretna High School.  He's facing a battle, but this time it's in the courtroom.

17-year old Brianna Newman is recovering after investigators say she took a terrible fall.  Her friends KMTV Action 3 News' Liz Dorland she fell over a railing dung a party and more than likely took the tumble because she "was intoxicated".   Sarpy County Sheriff Deputies say Newman fell during a party that Ryan Hartnett threw.

When Sarpy County Sheriff Deputies arrived at the Hartnett's Gretna home, they say they found several teens partying with alcohol.  A source says it was so rowdy, people were sliding down the banisters.

As a wrestler, Hartnett is best known for his skills on the mat. Now the former Gretna wrestling star is in hot water.  Deputies busted the 19-year old for not only drinking, but procuring and contributing booze to teenagers. Deputies ticketed three other teens for MIP.

Hartnett is out of jail for the holiday weekend.  Neither Ryan nor his father, Joesph Hartnett answered the door when Dorland went to get his side of the story.

Gretna High teens tell Dorland the Hartnett's are known for wrestling, as well as
parties that the teens and sheriff's deputies say happen all the time.

Deputies also busted Brianna Newman for alcohol, but it's her busted jaw that has her laid up. Her mother thanks the community for the many well wishes and prayers.

The homeowner Joesph Hartnett has not been ticketed for the MIP party. Joe Hartnett is currently going through deacon formation at St. Patrick Parish in Gretna.
