Waste Management will not be collecting trash Thursday because of icy roads and poor driving conditions.
Thursday's routes will be collected Friday and Friday's routes will be collected Saturday.
Papillion Sanitation is also delayed one day.
Waste Management is asking residents to leave trash and recycle containers curbside until the end of the day Saturday. Customers in Omaha, Bennington, Bellevue, Council Bluffs, La Vista, Papillion and Plattsmouth will be affected.
Many schools and businesses around Omaha are closed Thursday as well.
