The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said on Friday that disciplinary actions taken with regard to agency staff in conjunction with the escape of two inmates from the Lincoln Correctional Center in June.

Officials said that disciplinary action has been issued to six NDCS staff including termination, demotion, suspension and disciplinary probation.

Armon Dixon and Timothy Clausen escaped in a laundry truck in June, at the time investigators said prison workers didn't follow security procedures.

    Both men were recaptured.

Criminal charges have been filed against inmates Dixon and Clausen who are housed at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution.
