“A lot of folks are like Omaha? Is there even anything to do in Omaha,” said Abhishek Mehta, who owns a business in India.

For more than 50 years Warren Buffett has welcomed the world to the place he calls home.

“We all know this is like the Super Bowl of finance,” said a Columbia School of Business student.

People from more than 50 countries will be in town this weekend for the annual Berkshire Hathaway Shareholders Meeting, including some more than 3,000 Chinese shareholders.

“I want to see global visitors,” said Chinese shareholder Jim Li.

Jim LI traveled to Omaha from Beijing.

“I made this, I calculated this chart,” said Li.

Li says he learned everything he knows about investing from Buffett, but he also idolizes the Billionaire for another big reason.

“Coke is delicious,” said Li.

Many shareholders agree with Li.

“When I was very young somebody told me Warren Buffett owns Coca-Cola and I used to drink a lot of Coke so I thought wow that’s fun,” said Nilze Mehta.

Of course the Coca-Cola was flowing and Dairy Queen was being devoured at the CenturyLink Center.

Shareholders were eager to shop Buffett’s brands on Friday.  But before they could enter the CenturyLink Center, they were welcomed by security.

Clark International, who does security for Buffett, manned the doors making each guest go through metal detectors and get wanded.

Security personnel on sight tell KMTV times are changing and security must keep up with the times.  But, the extra inspections didn’t seem to be a bother.  This year’s meeting is as dazzling as ever.

“I’ve never seen anything like this,” said five-year-old Garrett Johnson of St. Louis.
