The Omaha Police Department says twin baby girls were found unharmed in the area of 33rd and Hartman Avenue tonight after they were involved in an Amber Alert.

The white Volkswagen sedan was located as well, but police want the public to know the suspect has not been located.

Yatonda Lewis says she was loading groceries into the trunk of her car when a man got into it and drove away with her 8-month-old daughters, Alexandra and Sophia still inside.

For over an hour family and friends worried about the whereabouts of the two little girls holding prayer circles until they received the good news just before 10p.m.

This happened in the Baker's parking lot near 30th and Martin in North Omaha just after 8p.m. Thursday night.

Police are still looking for the suspect who took car jacked Lewis' vehicle.
