For almost 9 months the murder of a man in his Dundee home was shrouded in mystery, but Monday new details are revealed in court,

May 30th in the Dundee neighborhood off of 51st & Dodge St., 50-year-old Chuck Keathley is found dead inside his home.  Keathley was the Senior Vice President of Ibex Global.

Nine months later Sha'ron Ellis, 37, is wanted for murder and Christopher Myers, 39, is arrested for accessory to murder.  Monday, Myers' bond is set at $500,000-10%.

Prosecutors say Keathley was stabbed to death, and may have been dead for days.  A kitchen knife was recovered from Keathley's bedroom and it allegedly had Myers' DNA on it.

Phone records reveal Myers was in the neighborhood on May 27th, the day they believe Keathley was killed, and Myers contacted the same phone number Keathley was calling before his death.

"We believe that there's forensic evidence and other evidence that can put Mr. Myers at the scene after the fact in some role,” said Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine.

Keathley's car was found at Freedom Park, and had been set on fire.

Ellis is currently at the hospital for an unknown medical issue, but will be booked at the jail when he's released.
In court, Myers asked the judge, "How can I be involved in a murder when I had a surgery on the same day?  All because of a cell phone tower?”

Prosecutors say more work is being done, and they can't reveal a motive yet.

"Not at this point in time, there's still probably some people that are going to be interviewed so I don't want to divulge too much at this point in time,” Kleine described.

If convicted, Myers faces up to 4 years in prison.
