A prayer walk is planned Thursday evening in response to a deadly shooting the day before.
The First Responders Homicide Prayer Walk group will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the scene of the shooting near 16th Street and Victor Ave.
The gathering is in response to a shooting that left 22-year-old Jarrell Haynes dead on Wednesday, March 2.
Haynes’ family said he had just returned home after trying to attend court.
