OPD asking for public's help in death investigation

Omaha PD needs the public's help in finding out how a man died. 

According to OPD, On Tuesday, June 28th, at 3:33 p.m., officers responded to 1120 North 18th Street regarding an injured party.

Officials said the victim was located by the Omaha Fire Department prior to officers arrival and was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center with serious head injuries.

The victim later succumbed to his injuries. He has been identified as 50-year-old Albert Forbes.

Officials say their investigators have not been able to determine the details of how the victim received his injuries.

His death is being investigated by the Homicide Unit until the circumstances of the incident can be determined.
