One injured in crash on 93rd and Blondo

Omaha Police say a motorcyclist is seriously injured while another driver was cited in a crash on 93rd and Blondo Friday night. 

According to OPD, at around 10:39 p.m., officers responded to the crash.

OPD officials said a 2013 Nissan Murano was westbound on Blondo and turned southbound onto 93rd.

The driver  turned into the path of an eastbound 1987 Honda CMX250 motorcycle.

OPD days the motorcyclist was transported by OFD Medics to NE Medicine with serious non-life threatening injuries.

The motorcyclist was wearing a D.O.T helmet. Neither speed or alcohol are factors in this crash.

Officials identified  the The motorcyclist as 24-year-old Amanda J Fagan.

Fagan is being treated for serious leg and facial injuries.

The driver was identified  as 36-year-old Jung Yoon Kim. 

Kim was not injured but was cited for failure to yield the right of way.

The intersection was reopened shortly after midnight.
