OPD: Suspect vehicle in weekend homicide

Omaha Police have released a picture of the vehicle they believe was involved in a weekend homicide. 

Officers found Jonathan Johnson suffering from gunshot wounds near 43rd and Spaulding at 10:30 a.m. on November 28th. Johnson died at the hospital. A second victim, Nathaniel Bailey, had non life-threatening injuries. 

Investigators believe the dark-colored Ford Explorer pictured was used in this homicide. They have requested that anyone with information about the vehicle or this case to call the Homicide Unit at 402-444-5656.

Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.  Tips can also be submitted on-line at omahacrimestoppers.org.  All tips will remain anonymous. Tips on all homicides that lead to an arrest will be paid  $25,000.00.
