The community will get a chance to voice their opinion Tuesday about proposed changes to Omaha’s downtown area.
HDR Inc.’s plans for a new high-rise global headquarters at 11th and Douglas are on the agenda for the city council.
It is called the Omaha Performing Arts Society Project Redevelopment Plan, which amends the Downtown Northeast Redevelopment Plan.
Opponents of the proposal don’t want historic buildings in the area to be torn down. They plan to speak out against the plan at Tuesday’s 2 p.m. city council meeting.
