Increasing voter registration and turnout is the goal of a new effort by nearly 100 Omaha churches.
The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance hopes to register 10,000 new voters this year, hoping to recapture the strong numbers voters showed in 2008. Part of that effort will include rides for those who can't get to the polls themselves.
