The woman accused of breaking into the zoo to pet a tiger which ended up biting her on Halloween night is facing more legal trouble.
Omaha Interim City Prosecutor Thomas Mumgaard filed three different misdemeanor charges against 33-year-old Jacqueline Eide.
She faces one count each for trespassing, contributing to the delinquency of a child and criminal mischief, according to online court records.
Officials accuse Eide of causing between $1,500 and $5,000 in property damage at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.
Omaha Police said she broke into the zoo and was bitten by a tiger after reaching into its cage. A juvenile with her was also later cited for trespassing, according to police.
Eide posted, and then removed, a statement on Facebook calling media reports “extremely exaggerated.”

Investigators said the incident was not captured on surveillance cameras. Zoo officials said in a statement immediately following the incident they would be adding more cameras and lighting around zoo grounds.
