The display is a part of the first ever "veterans shine on" ceremony, thanking the service members.
The event was put on by Omaha Parks and Recreation and the Omaha Parks Foundation.
There was hot cocoa, holiday treats and even some festive tunes courtesy of the U.S. Air Force Heartland of America band.
Organizers say the season of giving is a good opportunity to show appreciation for those who defend our country.
