The truck driver severely injured in an explosion and fire at an ethanol plant near Council Bluffs earlier this month has died.
Officials said 61-year-old Kenneth Krumwiede of Walthill, Nebraska died on Sunday from the burns he suffered when his truck caught fire.
Crews were loading it with ethanol at Southwest Iowa Renewable Energy.
Amemorial service will be held for Krumwiede on Tuesday in Walthill.
