Plattsmouth Police arrested a man for terroristic threats Sunday afternoon.

At around 4:58 p.m. Plattsmouth Police officers were investigating a disturbance in the 600 block of 5th Ave.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found 25-year-old Austin Courcier, in the area with a third party when he reportedly produced a gun while approaching the house to beat on the door.

Courcier left the area prior to officers arriving on the scene.

The vehicle he reported left the area in was later located by an officer on the north side of town on Webster Blvd.

The vehicle pulled into the driveway of a residence in the 18000 Block of Webster Blvd., at which time the suspect exited the vehicle and took off, on foot, into the woods behind the residence.

Officers later found Courcier  and arrested him in the area just south of the Masonic Home.

Courcier was booked into the Cass County Jail for terroristic threats, obstructing a police officer, use of a weapon to commit a felony, two Douglas Co. arrest warrants and various other drug charges.
