An Omaha auto club is planning to help medical and emergency professionals stranded by the weather get to work.

Members of Just Jeeps of Omaha plan to offer free rides to first responders and health care workers Tuesday.

The group's vice president, Steve King with KMTV's radio partners at CD 105.9, says his Jeep can easily get around in a foot of snow.

"There are people that aren't going to be able to get out that need to get out like doctors, nurses, police, firefighters and EMTs. So we thought, 'We have vehicles that can go through darn-near anything so why not offer up a service to take them back and forth as safely as possible," said King.

Just Jeeps of Omaha has an online form to sign up.  You can find it here.
