Iowa fans invaded Lincoln at Memorial Stadium for the Nebraska vs. Iowa Football game.
“There is a lot of black and yellow here in Lincoln,” said Stasia Most.
The Hawkeye fans were hoping their team can add another victory to their undefeated season
“We are here to watch the Hawkeyes beat the huskers, 12-0 baby,” said Andy Weichers.
Fans tailgated before kickoff. They had drinks, plenty of food to choose from, and an endless supply of Hawkeye support.
“I have been to all 11 games this year, so this is number 12,” said Matthew Raduechel.
Along with the possibility of going 12 and 0, this game has some bragging right riding for some fans, “the wife is a Nebraska fan, so this is where we spend the rest of our year who one who didn’t,” said Eric Weichers.
As fans pile into Memorial stadium, they were confident and hopeful in their Hawkeye team.
