Firefighters battled a house fire overnight.
The fire at the home near 22nd and Grant was reported just after midnight at a two story home which appeared to be vacant. Because the home was vacant and the fire appeared to burn out some of the staircases, firefighters battled the flames from the outside of the home. The fire was declared under control about 45 minutes after firefighters arrived.
