The brother of fire victim Michael Speer, Jared Speer, issued the following statement regarding his brother and his family's deaths in a fire early Thursday morning.
My brother Mike was a good man, a hard worker that loved his family and would do anything he could for them. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors, it was his second home. Michelle my sister in law, I never knew a whole lot about her but I know she loved to run and that those little girls were her life and soul. Elli, the oldest, loved soccer and was a huge help in bringing up the other girls, helping with whatever needed to be done with a large family like this. Adilyne, she was the shy one, very bashful but with a heart of gold, she looked just like daddy, the spitting image. Emma loved to dance and sing. She would steal her mommas phone and make videos of herself singing and dancing, she looked more like her mother than anything. Anniston, the youngest of the four at 2 years old was like any 2 year old, rambunctious and also very sweet and loving, always making these funny faces and full of energy and love. The whole family was just big lump of love and good memories. There is a huge hole left now in our hearts that will never be filled.
