The man who captured national attention for shooting a 17-year-old in a controversial stand-your-ground case is making waves again.

George Zimmerman shot and killed Trayvon Martin in 20-12. A jury acquitted him of any wrongdoing, and recently he put the gun he used in that killing up for auction. Our Scripps station in Las Vegas talked with Zimmerman exclusively about the uproar over the gun auction.

"I knew I had something of value, which ironically the Black Lives Matter and the manipulating media, I'm not saying you of course, I am just saying in general, they are the ones that gave it it's value. I mean you can't blame me I mean I would have sold it for $350 if that is what its value was. The ironic part is they made it worth at least a quarter of a million dollars. They gave me a quarter of a million dollars" said Zimmerman.

When asked if he could change what happened the day he shot and killed Martin, Zimmerman said he "would have done anything" to not have to take a life in self defense.
