Councilman Ben Gray is hoping to stay as the representative for district two for a third term.
The incumbent will hold a reception at his campaign headquarters near 24th and Ohio from 6:00pm until 7:30 Monday night.
He filed for re-election earlier this month.
He faces four hopefuls looking to replace him.

Retired police officer Tariq Al-Amin, who has the backing of senator Ernie Chambers.
