A 2013 rough arrest in north Omaha could end with a $90,000 payout by the city.

The family of Sharee Johnson filed a federal lawsuit after Omaha police entered their home near 33rd and Seward on March 21, 2013.   Demetrious, Octavious and Juaquez Johnson were all arrested during the incident.  The arrest was caught on camera and led to a department review.

The police chief fired a total of six in the incident. Though some appealed and regained their jobs.

The Johnson family filed a federal lawsuit alleging excessive force.  This settlement would award the family $30,000 with the remaining $60,000 going to attorney fees and expenses.

City Council members could approve the settlement on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
