A cafe in north downtown Omaha is in need of repair tonight after a car smashed into the store front.
Omaha police tell us the car was eastbound on I-480 trying to exit at 24th Street when it barreled through the intersection and hit the building Thursday afternoon. The driver and passenger were both injured and are being treated at Chi Creighton. They are expected to be okay.
Police are investigating if alcohol was involved.
