There are serious preparations happening in Omaha for Super Bowl 50.

Restaurants are excited and ready to go.

“Pizza is the perfect football food,” Zio’s Pizzeria in Downtown Omaha said they are ready for the rush on Super Bowl Sunday.

“Tomorrow we will be completely staffed for the Super Bowl, we will have plenty of drivers, cooks, we are going to have plenty of food in the kitchen,” said Steven Mascarello, who works at Zio’s.

After the M’s Pub fire blocked off the road in front of their restaurant, they want people to know, they're open.

“We are hoping to be as busy as possible with takeout and delivery,” said Mascarello.

They will have their full menu ready to order in, take out, and have delivered.

DJ’s Dugout in Aksarben Village is also ready for the big game.

Manager Bryan Rea said they have extra beer, wings, and staff on hand, “we love sports, we love talking to people this is why we do it.”

Fans are ready, and plan to order their good-luck meal.

“Same chair same seat, I will be here early to get it, go bronco. I am going to carry the mojo all the way through the super bowl victory,” said Ray Abrams.

In West Omaha, Varsity Sports Café has their menu specials for Super Bowl Sunday

“There is a lot of preparation that goes into it,” said General Manager Ashley Bourke.

They have prizes they will give away if you eat at the restaurant during the game,

“We will be giving away stadium chairs at halftime and with miller light with any purchase you get an entry to win an electric guitar,” said Bourke.

KMTV will have full coverage of the Super Bowl on Sunday.
