Authorities plan to hold a press conference Wednesday morning to discuss a rape reported at the home of Husker football players.

Lancaster County Attorney Joe Kelly and Lincoln Police Chief Jim Peschong plan to give an update in the investigation.

KMTV plans to live stream the 8:45 a.m. press conference on KMTV.com here.

Investigators have not released many details about the case reported on Sunday, Nov. 15.  According to the incident report, a woman said she was raped at a home where Nebraska football players Tommy Armstrong and Jordan Westerkamp live.

No suspects have been identified.  Nebraska Athletics said they were aware of the allegation and cooperating with investigators.

Head football coach Mike Riley said in his weekly press conference Monday he was not involved in the investigation.

“I have on the serious issue that we are continuing to go through at this time; I have no new information on it from the university, from the athletic department. As we all know, it’s an ongoing investigation that’s being handled by law enforcement and the university. For me right now there’s no need to speculate on anything about it and no need to deal in any hypothetical,” he said.
