Authorities say there will be no arrests or charges in connection with a rape investigation at the home of some Husker players.

Lincoln Police Chief Jim Peschong said the investigation, which included interviews with everyone at the home of Tommy Armstrong and Jordan Westerkamp at the time of the alleged assault, was complete.

Lancaster County Attorney Joe Kelly said he could not ethically file charges in the case because he did not have proof beyond a reasonable doubt a crime had occurred.

Kelly and Peschong spoke to the media Wednesday morning about the case’s conclusion.
