Parents of students at Westside Community Schools received an email Wednesday night about a school threat posted on social media.

School officials say the post implied a threat at a Westside school tomorrow.  They worked with Omaha police and identified the persons responsible.  Two people were taken into police custody. Both indicated to police that it was intended to be a joke.

Here's the full letter that was sent to parents at 10:30 Wednesday night:

Good evening Westside students, parents and families,
We received several notifications this evening about a post on social media implying a threat to Westside tomorrow.   We worked closely with Omaha Police to identify the person responsible.  That person is in police custody this evening and school will operate as normal Thursday.
Thank you to all students and their families who contacted us to report this, and thank you to Omaha Police for their quick work to help us resolve this matter.
