One Person Injured After Vehicle Hits Post Office
Papillion, NE - The Papillion branch post office closed Tuesday after a woman was struck by a vehicle.
The woman had just left the post office on North Adams Street when the driver of a vehicle lost control, striking the woman and a newspaper stand. The crash damaged the front window of the building.
Officials at the post office left a note on the front door, stating "Due to accident the post office closed."
A post office employee says the woman who was pinned was taken to a hospital. Her condition is not known.
The driver of the vehicle has not been identified.
