Heartland REACT Looking for Storm Spotters
Omaha, NE - Volunteers are needed to keep a close eye on the skies for the upcoming severe weather season.
Heartland React is now recruiting new members to be trained as storm spotters.
Volunteers will provide communication services as requested by Douglas and Sarpy County emergency managers.
The new recruit training will be conducted on Saturday, February 23rd at the Douglas County EMA Operations Center.
