It's the most likely place you'd find the young and healthy, college. But the dreaded flu knows no age. Where there are thousands of students, there's bound to be germs.
Since October, Douglas County has documented 515 cases of influenza. That's up drastically from 337 cases in all of last year. So far this flue season, 44-percent of those who came down with the cough, chills and fever in douglas county were ages 5-to-24.
