The Creighton Bluejays often draw a big crowd on the court. On Monday, they drew a lot of fans in the classroom. The team signed autographs at St. Patrick's Catholic School in Elkhorn.
The kids asked the team how they prepare for a game. Doug McDermott told them they eat a lot. He also said he naps before game time.
McDermott told the students to never give up on their dreams. He said, "doesn't matter how good you are at something, doesn't mean it can't be taken away, so keep working hard, listen to your parents and teachers and everything with take care of itself from there.
