Police spent a good part of Christmas Eve searching through the area of North 56th and Ames. The crime scene stretched about a block. Shortly before 6p.m. police were called to 4613 North 56th. They were responding to investigate a cutting but quickly found out it was much more serious than that. The male was taken to Creighton University Medical Center with a stab wound. He died there. A neighbor told Action 3 News the victim is a veteran in his 40's. A source also told Action 3 News the man was stabbed during an argument over a parking spot. Police were using a K-9 unit to search an area blocks away. Monday night, they're still looking for who pulled off the crime.
