Shine the Light on Hunger set to end in days
The ice skating rink in downtown Omaha was full Sunday afternoon. That could translate into full dinner tables. ConAgra foods is donating the cash that's made here to help feed hungry families. Sadly the demand is growing according to Foodbank for the Heartland. About 16-percent of nebraskans reported that sometime in the past 12-months, they didn't have enough money to buy food for the family. Mayor Jim Suttle says he started touring food banks a few years ago and is concerned about the increase.
