Forget the turkey...

"We had IHOP breakfast all together this morning so you know, it was good."

For some, this Thanksgiving is all about the hot deals.

"He wants a a big tv and this is by far the best deal so."

"We have wonderful parents and we're gonna get them a tv."

The Sears at Oak View Mall is just one of dozens of stores that opened up Thanksgiving night, and people in Omaha didn't think twice about ditching the pumpkin pie.

The line wrapped around the entire store as hundreds anxiously waited to get their hands on the goods.

"Uh it was a little chaotic."

At eight o'clock sharp, the stampede tore through Sears; a mad dash to the electronics.

"There was a couple more things over there I want but I'm not gonna go anywhere near it even to pay I'll wait to pay until that calms down."

TV's and video games gone within seconds, people shoulder to shoulder. The Black Friday craziness has spilled over onto the holiday.

"I think it kinda ruins the tradition of Black Friday."

"I think 8 p.m. Is too early. Then how come you're out here? Because I'm an idiot, haha."

Getting the best deals or spending time with family? It's become a choice for some while others try to squeeze it all in.
