They're out in full force...
"It's wall to wall."
Attention HyVee shoppers! The last minute Thanksgiving rush has officially hit.
"It's crazy Thanksgiving the day before Thanksgiving is always our busiest holiday of the whole year we do more sales today than we do any other day in the year."
Shoulder to shoulder and cart to cart shoppers are grabbing their way through the aisles.
Bobbing and weaving between the dinner rolls and stuffing, turkey day goodies are filling hundreds of carts.
"25 pound turkey, all the fixings, stuffing, sausage onions..."
"Rolls and lettuce for the salad."
Ken Adler is cooking for the whole family. He knew the last minute rush would be nuts but he just couldn't resist.
"Usually things go on sale when it gets closer to the end, so I'm gonna capture that."
But some others just couldn't help it.
"I procrastinate every year."
150 employees are on hand scanning the sweet potatoes, pies and cool whip working as fast as ever so these last minute shoppers can enjoy their turkey holiday.
