OMAHA, NE - Steve Short with SunCo Grounds Management is a Vietnam veteran. On Veterans Day, he took time to help landscape the yard of a World War II veteran.
Charles Peters, Sr. will be 90 years old in January and says he's not as active as he'd like to be. This was a welcome surprise.
Steve Short says as a Vietnam vet helping others helps him heal. He says, "My goal is to expand this. I would like this to begin to be a national thing, a tradition."
