Natural Gas Leak in Springfield is Under Control
Neighbors Have Complained about Smell
The Sarpy Co. Sheriff's Office tells us they've received many phone calls asking about a smell in Springfield. The Sheriff's Office says there was a natural gas leak after a private contractor hit a pipe while working underground near 9th and Main Street around 5:30pm Tuesday night.
The Sheriff's Office says it has been checked out, and there is no threat to the public. They say the matter is now under control.
