Dundee Residents Hear about Business District Renovations
About one hundred residents and business owners showed up at a public meeting at the Neighborhood Center on 49th Avenue Tuesday.
The $2.5 million dollar business district renovation project is expected to create more parking as well as new curbs, sidewalks, landscaping and lighting.
Many neighbors wanted to know how the intersection of 50th and Underwood will be controlled. Planners say there will likely be a stop light there. They say safety is their top priority.
Construction is slated to begin April 2013.
