Race for the Cure
Organizers of Susan G. Komen Nebraska Race for the Cure are calling this year's event a success. About 16,000 runners and walkers joined together outside CenturyLink Center for the annual event. The cause raised $270,000 in individual donations.
They are still accepting donations. Seventy-five percent of donations raised in Nebraska stay in the Nebraska area to provide services for women and men in the community.
