Omaha, NE – The unemployment numbers keep getting better for Nebraska. The jobless rate for September was 3.9% second only to North Dakota.
While it’s good news some employers tell us a low jobless rate can make it challenging to find good hires.
One HR manager told us she has many job openings but can’t fill them because of the skill level required.
Employers say when the job rate is low the hiring pool becomes small. Their biggest issue is trying to find that right qualified candidate.
