Sneak Peek Inside the new Ralston Arena
The first tenants will be the University of Nebraska Omaha Men’s Basketball team and The Omaha Lancers Junior Hockey Team.
Ralston, NE – From the floor to the food the screens to the seats we can give you a sneak peek inside the Ralston Arena.
“This place will just rock and light up,” says Ralston Mayor Donald Groesser.
This is a view few people have seen the first look inside Ralston’s new $36 million arena.
The first tenants will be the University of Nebraska Omaha Men’s Basketball team and The Omaha Lancers Junior Hockey Team.
“It’s a perfect venue for the lancers and for UNO both because they don’t get 10,000 people coming to their games they get 4,000 people,” says Groesser.
And what they’ll find is an arena with three large event spaces the biggest is the main arena that seats 4,500 people.
This arena has more uses than one; it has a second ice rink that’s smaller next to the main arena with far fewer seats.
On that same level as the main arena is a banquet hall letting Ralston go for a “Triple Play” hosting multiple events at one time.
Open house is Wednesday for Ralston Residents and Friday night there’s a country concert and then everyone else is invited to see it on Sunday for the grand opening.
But their first game is a week from Friday when the Omaha Lancers take the ice.
