Omaha, NE – Was Jesus Married? A scrap of paper uncovered by a Harvard Professor raises the question and some eyebrows.

It was sent to Christian Scholar at the Harvard Divinity School Karen King by a donor who insists on remaining anonymous. The document dates back to the 2nd century.
It’s written in an ancient dialect and contains just 14 broken lines in faded black ink.
John O’Keefe Professor of Theology at Creighton University says it doesn’t change anything for Christians.
Professor O’Keefe says it’s like taking an exacto-knife and cutting a piece out from a page of a book and then trying to figure out what was in the book from that piece.
The Christian Scholar who revealed the artifact says the paper doesn’t necessarily prove Jesus
was married; just that some people in the 2nd century believe he was.
Common belief or not, Christians we spoke with were opinionated when it comes to Jesus’
marital status.
When or how the document was discovered is still unknown. Experts plan to do additional testing.
