Police call the Lincoln woman a victim of a hate crime.
Omaha, NE – More than 1,400 people are planning to attend a vigil for a Lincoln Woman. Police call her a victim of a hate crime.
This story is spreading fast across the country. The gay community has named her “Rainbow Jane.”
Three masked men broke into her home and carved homophobic slurs into her body over the weekend. They tried to set her house on fire.
Here in Omaha, Heartland Pride is organizing a vigil for Thursday night.
They expect three times the number of people who attended a similar one on Sunday in Lincoln.
The candlelight vigil will be at Memorial Park at 8:30 p.m.
