Omaha, NE – 21-year-old Mickayla Linn was tubing Monday evening at Woodcliff Lake near Fremont when tragedy struck.

Linn was having fun with her friends riding on an inner tube being pulled by a motor-boat on the lake. Just before 7 p.m. Monday night the tube hit the rear of another docked boat.
Linn was taken to Fremont Medical Center minutes later where she died.
Family members say Linn graduated from Millard North High School in 2009. She was taking business classes at Metropolitan Community College and also worked at a tanning salon.
Family members describe Linn as very social and someone who got along with everyone.

This past Saturday two days before the accident, Woodcliff security sent an e-mail to residents, warning them on the dangers of tubing.

It says: "The last thing you should be doing, is putting your kids on a tube, flying full speed around the lake, zig zagging from shore to shore."

The boat driver Sean Salisbury has been cited for suspicion of negligent boat operation.

Nebraska Game and Parks say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the deadly crash.
